When I mention absorbency and capacity in the description of the pads, I have tested only in the centre part of the pad to test when water 'breaks' over the exposed core.
The larger pads for example will hold a lot more fluid at the ends but I haven't use these parts when testing with water as I feel that everyone is different and will find different parts of the pads beneficial.
For the most part I use Bamboo French Terry which isn't as fast absorbing as Zorb but has the potential to hold a lot more fluid. I do however boost the bigger pads with Zorb as it gives them a more thirsty top later.
If you would like to discuss a customising the absorbency, size or make up of the core I am absolutely willing to do so, let's do this together!!
